Will I know when I can move in and when the lease ends?
Yes. Every listing shows its move-in date, lease-end date and lease length up front, and Blockmates flags homes that don't line up with your group's move-in month before anyone books a tour.
Is it free?
Yes. Blockmates is always free for renters, and free for landlords and property managers during the pilot.
How do you keep people safe?
Every renter is ID-verified before they can message anyone, landlords are verified before they can list, contact details stay private until you share them, and you can report or block anyone in one tap.
Where do the apartments come from?
Verified homes from Blockmates partner landlords, plus any listing link you bring in from another site. Your group sees every home priced per person.
When can I use it?
Blockmates opens at Brandeis University first, ahead of the spring 2027 search season. Join early access to be first in line.
